Easily Readable Fonts On Screen



Here are some of the most easily readable fonts for any on-screen reading purposes i.e. an electronic book or reading something in your browser;

  • Garamond
  • Times New Roman
  • Arial
  • Courier New
  • Georgia
  • Verdana
  • Lucida Bright


Mac OS uses Helvetica font while Windows 10 uses Segoe UI font.

Here’s a tip to find any type of font in Google Chrome browser;

Select the text you wish and Right-click on it to select “Inspect”;


Next, you will see Google Chrome Elements inspector;


On bottom-right of the screen, you will see “font-family”. You can click on it to further expand to reveal the actual font name used in your selection;


Once you are done figuring out the type of font used, simply click the “X” on the top-right hand side of the Chrome Elements Inspector to close it.
