Clear Recent Documents in Microsoft Office Word 2007

Here’s how you can clear the listing of “Recent Documents” from the Microsoft Word 2007 version;

Click top-left menu Office button marked as 4 boxes joined together. Click “Word Options” at the right-bottom of the screen;

Click “Advanced” tab on the left and scroll down to “Display” option. Right next to “Show this number of Recent Documents”, enter number zero “0” and press “OK” button;
