I purchased Alfa Mini 11N 3001n 300mbps wireless N Pico USB adapter wifi and plugged it into my USB port. Nothing happened. I plugged in all other USB ports on my laptop but it did not recognize it at all.
I plugged the same into another system of mine and it picked it up perfectly alright. I realized that my laptop’s USB might have become loose to not recognize the wifi adapter. Hence I lightly pressed the adapter’s ends together (with a plier) to make them tighter when plugging into my USB port. And voila! There it was recognized and picked up by my laptop which is running Windows 10.
