Whenever you create a new contact and save in on your phone, it automatically stores it in the internal memory of the phone instead of in the Google Contacts. To change the default location for saving your contacts, follow the procedure mentioned here. But first, let’s change the default view of your contacts to Google.

View Only Google Contacts

Since you want to create, save and edit only the Google contacts, hence there is no point in viewing the phone contacts. To change your phone to show only Google contacts instead of any other, here’s how you can do it;

Tap phone dialer icon and select “Contacts” tab. Next, select three dots on upper right corner and select “Settings” option to continue;

And finally, select “Google” as the default contact storage (saving) option so that whenever you create new contact in future, it automatically saves it in your Google Contacts (synced automatically with Google Cloud) instead of saving it in your phone’s internal memory.
