Insert Table Of Contents Automatically In A Document – Microsoft Word 2019

Instead of having to find and create a manual reference table of content in the beginning of a document, Microsoft Office 2019 (Word) gives you an option to do this laborious work for you intelligently and quickly.

Here’s how you can add a quick table of content in your Microsoft Word document;

Place your cursor at the beginning of the document where you wish to place the table of content.

O the top menu click References;

Next, click the “Table of Contents” and select the built-in style options;

This should automatically generate all of the table of content containing all of your main headings, titles, sub-headings, etc., provided you have applied appropriate styles to the same content in the document.
