When you are unable to view thumbnail previews of images or photos in your Microsoft Windows 10 Explorer folders, it is usually due to a corrupted user account. Simply remove and create a new user account to fix this issue.

Here’s how;

Start Windows Command Prompt with Administrative privileges;

Untitled

Enable the built-in Administrator account to manage all the resources of your computer;

net user administrator /active:yes

To view all current users list;

net user

To view all users with limited access (not administrators);

net localgroup Users

To view all admin users;

net localgroup Administrators

To view detailed data of every user;

WMIC USERACCOUNT LIST BRIEF

WMIC USERACCOUNT LIST FULL

wmic useraccount get name

To add user;

net user username password /add

To assign admin or local user role;

net localgroup GroupPrivilege UserName /add

for example

net localgroup administrators john /add

To delete user;

net user username /delete
