To hide or block a particular individual or a topic from your suggested news headlines in the Google News aggregator, visit this URL and enter the term or individual name you wish to hide or block. Press ENTER button when you are done entering the target keyword of the individual or topic;

https://news.google.com

1

In the news search results, hover your mouse over the heading and click the “three dots” under it. From the options, you can either ban the whole news source website by clicking “Hide all stories from The New York Times” or preferably only hide stories that include the keyword or targeted individual/topic name by clicking “Fewer stories like this”;

2

Simply repeat this from the list of all news articles in the search result. This will help Google News aggregator to learn your preferences and show you news stories more customized to your own interest.
