Volume Too Low In Default Windows 11 Sound or Audio Multimedia Driver On HP EliteBook Folio 9470m

After installing Windows 11 on a new 128GB SSD, the default sound drivers volume was too low but the microphone was working. There were no audio drivers in the Windows 10 categoy on HP website, hence I tried audio drivers listed in Windows 8.1 (64-bit) category labeled as sp65631. Original sound and volume of the laptop came back but my microphone is not recording anything even though it shows installed perfectly alright as below. With the external audio headset (hands-free), I can easily record anything though.

I have posted the question at HP and Microsoft websites and waiting for any further solutions.
