Delete Google Contacts Via Computer – Windows Chrome

  1. Go to Google Contacts.
  2. Select one of the following:
  • A single contact: Check the box next to the contact name.
  • Multiple contacts: Check the boxes next to all the contacts you want to delete.
  • All contacts: Check the box next to any contact. At the top left, click the Down arrow Down Arrow and then All.
  • At the top right, click More  and then Delete and then Move to trash
  • Your contacts are moved to Trash, where they’ll stay for 30 days before they’re deleted permanently.
  • To delete a contact permanently, go to “Trash,” select the contact, then click Delete forever.

Remove Google Contacts Via Android Phone

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Contacts app .
  2. Select an option.
    • A single contact: Tap the contact. At the top right, tap More More and then Delete and then Delete.
    • Multiple contacts:
      1. Touch and hold a contact and then tap the other contacts.
      2. Tap Delete Delete  and then Delete.
    • All contacts: At the top right, tap More More and then Select all and then Delete Delete  and then Delete.
  3. Your deleted contacts are moved to your Trash.
    • After 30 days in your Trash, contacts are deleted permanently.
  4. To delete contacts permanently, in your Trash:
    • Single contact: Tap the contact and then Delete forever and then Delete forever.
    • Multiple contacts:
      1. Touch and hold a contact and then tap the other contacts.
      2. Tap More More and then Delete forever and then Delete forever.
    • All contacts: Tap Empty Trash now and then Delete forever.
