
When installing Windows 10 via USB flash drive, you may encounter this error;

Try a different USB port for Flash Drive
Whenever you get this error, simply unplug the Flash USB drive and plug it in a different USB socket. Then click Cancel and click on “Install now” option again to start installing Windows 7.


Replace USB drive with a newer one
Sometimes the USB flash device starts malfunctioning. Simply use another USB flash drive.
Try USB 2.0 port instead of USB 3.0
Plug your USB flash device in older USB 2.0 instead of the newer (blue) one 3.0 USB port.
Change SATA to IDE in BIOS or UEFI settings
In BIOS, click Advanced, Storage Configuration, Drive Configuration or IDE Configuration.

Try Enabling or Disabling USB Legacy Support in BIOS and SATA to AHCI
